While growing up in an area where youth’s needs were often neglected, Mr. Dolphin became an advocate for family and youth. He firmly believes that it takes a village to raise a child. Mr. Dolphin served as an Adult School Instructor for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he saw the need to intervene and motivate adolescents to achieve a successful adult life.
Mr. Dolphin brings to the Love Home Board his knowledge as a Deputy Director of Utilities for a municipality in Los Angeles County. This includes 5 years of experience handling million-dollar budgets, 14 years of compliance reporting and best management practices, 3 years of capital and operating budgets, and 3 years of implementing programs and activities as required by federal, state, or county government.
Additional experience includes serving as Chair of the Water Technical Advisory Committee, San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, and as a City Representative for the Upper Los Angeles River Watershed Management Group.
Mr. Dolphin received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
