As a Certified Addiction Treatment Specialist (CAADE) since 2003, Mr. Steptoe has 19 years of experience in Substance Use Disorder Counseling, including Screening Intake assessments, 5 years of experience working with Veterans and experience with drug court, parolee reentry, DUI, facilitation, and crisis intervention.

His volunteer service includes 22 years with his 12-step fellowship as a Regional Committee Member (RCM), Hospitals and Institutions Chairperson for the South Barrio Area of Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Group Service Representative (GSR) for the Region 51 Area of NA in Las Vegas, 12 years with veterans, and currently as the secretary of the Sponsorship Behind The Walls subcommittee for the Greater Los Angeles Area of NA.

Mr. Steptoe holds both a master’s degree in organizational management and leadership and a bachelor’s in human services from Springfield College.
